ABOUT THIS STYLE

House and landscape portraits are highly detailed and meant to center the architecture/ beauty of a scene from a distance. People and pets can be added for an additional cost, but please note that they will not be the focus and will be set further back in the composition, so personal features will be highly simplified. If you would like the human figures in your portrait to be the focus, but have a house/ landscape in the background, please select from the human portrait options in the “Portrait Commissions” menu.

SIZING AND MATERIALS

All illustrations are created with watercolor, ink, and colored pencil on watercolor paper.

I do not offer sizes smaller than 9 x 12". 

TURNAROUND TIMES AND SHIPPING

All portraits have an 8 week turnaround. Rush orders may be accommodated for an additional fee depending on current capacity.

Orders ship USPS First Class (insured) for a flat rate of $10. Your artwork will be placed inside a plastic cellophane sleeve with a cardboard backer, wrapped in bubble wrap, and placed inside a cardboard literature mailer. 

PROCESS

1. Select what size illustration you would like from the drop down menu.

2. After you place your order, I will reach out via email within 1-2 business days to collect the information I need from you to proceed, including reference photos and notes.

3. A pencil sketch will be sent via email for your approval approximately 3-4 weeks later. 1-2 rounds of revisions are included.

4. Once your art is completed, I will send a photo of the finished it via email, along with tracking information for the physical artwork once it is mailed.
