ABOUT THIS STYLE:

- This style leans more realistic and true to your reference photos.

- This style works well for any type of portrait (full body, head shot, etc.), however, high quality reference photos are required for this style.

- Please note that while this style is more true to life, portraits will never be "photo realistic". I strive to be as accurate as possible, but the final product will still be an artistic interpretation.

SIZING AND MATERIALS

All illustrations are created with watercolor, ink, and colored pencil on watercolor paper.

I do not offer sizes smaller than 9 x 12". 

TURNAROUND TIMES AND SHIPPING

All portraits have an 8 week turnaround. Rush orders may be accommodated for an additional fee depending on current capacity.

Orders ship USPS First Class (insured) for a flat rate of $10. Your artwork will be placed inside a plastic cellophane sleeve with a cardboard backer, wrapped in bubble wrap, and placed inside a cardboard literature mailer. 

PROCESS

1. Select the number of pets, background preference, and size for your illustration from the drop down menu. You can view explanations re. background options at the bottom of this page.

2. After you place your order, I will reach out via email within 1-2 business days to collect the information I need from you to proceed, including reference photos and notes.

3. A pencil sketch will be sent via email for your approval approximately 3-4 weeks later. 1-2 rounds of revisions are included.

4. Once your art is completed, I will send a photo of the finished it via email, along with tracking information for the physical artwork once it is mailed.
